We are seeking an experienced Programme Officer to support the design and implementation of peace building initiatives across Asia and Eurasia. Key responsibilities include facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogues, conducting context and geopolitical risk analysis, managing project partnerships, and monitoring programme impact.
Requirements: Advanced degree in International Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies or related fields; at least 5 years of relevant experience in conflict prevention or track-two diplomacy; strong facilitation and writing skills; willingness to travel. Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in an Asian language is an advantage.
The Senior Dialogue Facilitator will lead neutral convening processes and confidential dialogues in complex geopolitical environments, particularly in the Middle East & North Africa and Africa regions. You will design dialogue formats, build trust with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to de-escalation strategies.
Requirements: Proven track record in mediation or facilitation (minimum 7 years); deep understanding of geopolitical dynamics; excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills; ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
This role focuses on producing impartial conflict analysis, geopolitical assessments and policy recommendations to support PA’s regional programmes. You will monitor emerging tensions, prepare briefing papers and contribute to thought leadership on rules-based approaches to peace.
Requirements: Postgraduate qualification in Political Science, International Security or Peace Studies; strong research and analytical skills; experience with qualitative and quantitative methods; excellent English writing ability.
PAN offers a structured internship programme for outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate students who are passionate about peace building, international relations and geopolitical affairs. Interns will gain hands-on experience by supporting programme implementation, conducting background research on regional conflicts, assisting in the preparation of dialogue sessions, and contributing to policy briefs and internal reports.
The programme runs for 3 to 6 months, with flexible start dates. Interns receive a monthly stipend, mentorship from senior staff, and opportunities to attend selected external meetings and workshops.
Requirements: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in International Relations, Political Science, Peace and Conflict Studies, or a related field; strong research and writing skills; good command of English; demonstrated interest in conflict prevention and regional peace. Previous experience in NGOs, think tanks or multilateral organisations is an advantage but not required.
